2024 Lapchi Snow Mountain: Milarepa Hundred Thousand Tsok Offering

At the end of May 2024, GarTul Chimi Dorjee Rinpoche led students from Taiwan to Lapchi Snow Mountain in Nepal to attend the Milarepa Hundred Thousand Tsok Offering presided over by His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche, and to meet Lapchi Dorzin Rinpoche.

The journey was also made to request teachings for Manang. Since the faithful of Manang have few opportunities to study the Dharma or practice the generation and completion stages, Rinpoche, wishing to directly benefit the many lay Buddhists there, went to Lapchi Snow Mountain to request teachings from His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche. His Holiness compassionately agreed, which led to the precious Manang ceremony that September, where His Holiness bestowed the Phowa Chenmo (Great Transference).

On Lapchi Snow Mountain, Rinpoche led the students to meditate in the various caves where Jetsun Milarepa practiced, and gave guidance to the local retreatants.

May all beings be auspicious.
